It takes time to share a piece of your story, build trust and develop personalized tools and put them into practice. Just to give you an idea here is a very general description of what you can expect during your first 3 sessions with me.
First session, discussion of the events or situations that brought you to seek support. By the end of the session one or more discussion points should have emerged ex: anxiety, compassion fatigue, affirmation, setting limits, etc.. The next meeting should be based on one or two of these discussion points depending on their complexity.
Second Session, we are probably going to discuss your situation a little more to confirm the discussion points you want to explore. Together we will look at options and avenues tailored just for you.
Third session, we’ll want to discuss the progression of your situation and the application of the tools we developed together. Analyze obstacles, repercussion and your successes. Maybe explore more in-depth or move to a new discussion point.
Everyone progresses at their own pace and for best chance of success it is suggested to meet at an interval of 1 to 3 weeks to build on the momentum.
