We offer effective bilingual and individualized counselling services located in South Porcupine and serving Timmins and Area. Where we can address personal concerns and situations that may be difficult to deal with on your own. Neutral ground is provided to individuals and couples counseling.
As an RSSW, We do not focus on labels but helping you to address the issues that prevent you from living life fully. We generally concentrate on the present conditions. Our focus is on assisting you in achieving optimum social functioning and dealing with personal and social problems. We do not diagnose clients and simply focus on the counselling aspects issues.
We utilize a personalized individual approach during our sessions which permits to explore present issues at home, work, traumatic events, relationship issues, stress, job loss and burn out, etc. We pinpoint signs and behaviors and how it’s affecting your daily activities. We observe these signs and emphasize on supplying workable short term implements and improvements that can help you break out to undesirable thoughts and behaviors.

Annick Boivin Counseling can help shorten the waiting times for individuals that do not need to be diagnosed and medicated for mental health issues but simply need support with their present issues.

In November 2020 Annick opened the doors of her own counselling practice abcounseling where she now offers non-judgmental and confidential counselling services. This is a place where clients can feel safe and comfortable.
For the past 10 years, Annick has Held several different intervention positions which included time as a residential worker, transitional support and housing worker, sexual assault counsellor as well as coordinating in training and support for various partners. She has facilitated multiple support groups, carried out countless individual interventions and offered renewal workshops to support people throughout their journey.
She has grown up in the Timmins and Cochrane district and understand the dynamics, challenges and reality that could impact individuals and family members. Since she been counseling in the area for over 10 years, She is well resourced and well informed about programs and services that are available in our communities.
